Computational Geometry Engineer

Design the geometric foundations that enable machines to understand, manipulate, and reason about three-dimensional environments.

  • Develop algorithms for 2D and 3D geometric processing.
  • Build high-performance spatial data structures and geometric representations.
  • Develop object classifiers, manipulators, and transformation pipelines.
  • Implement mesh, point cloud, and CAD processing algorithms.
  • Develop collision detection and spatial querying capabilities.
  • Create geometric abstractions for digital twins and Reality Models.
  • Optimize computational geometry algorithms for real-time applications.
  • Strong background in computational geometry or computer graphics.
  • C++, Python.
  • Linear algebra and numerical optimization.
  • Open3D, CGAL, Eigen, PCL, or similar libraries.
  • Experience with meshes, point clouds, CAD models, and spatial indexing.
  • GPU acceleration is a plus.
